This Privacy Policy explains how Zalanx collects, uses, stores and shares information when you visit the Zalanx website, create an account, connect a workspace, use the Service, contact support or manage a subscription.

1. Information We Process

Account and workspace information includes name or profile details when provided, email address, workspace name, team membership, account preferences and settings.

Security and integration information includes integration metadata; credentials, API keys, tokens or webhook secrets submitted to establish a connection; security telemetry; logs and security events; IP addresses; user or account identifiers in customer telemetry; incident context; threat-intelligence results; reports; and response and defense-action records.

For users who enter paid checkout or hold a paid subscription, billing information includes the selected plan, subscription status, billing dates, customer and subscription identifiers, discount or promotion status, cancellation information and payment-state information. Payment-card details are entered and processed through Dodo Payments. Free accounts may exist without payment information.

Technical and usage information includes device and browser information, IP address, session and authentication information, pages and features used, application, security and diagnostic logs, timestamps and error information.

Communications include support requests, feedback, survey responses, demo requests and other communications with Zalanx.

2. How Information Is Used

Zalanx may use information to:

  • provide and operate the Service, authenticate users and administer workspaces
  • connect supported integrations and ingest and analyze security telemetry
  • investigate incidents and create alerts and reports
  • support policy-controlled response workflows
  • manage plans, trials, subscriptions and cancellations
  • provide support and prevent abuse, fraud and security threats
  • troubleshoot, maintain and improve the Service
  • comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes

3. AI-Assisted Processing

Zalanx may use automated and AI-assisted processing to produce incident analysis, summaries, classifications and recommendations. This processing may involve service providers acting on Zalanx's behalf. Outputs may not always be accurate and should be reviewed by the customer.

4. How Information Is Shared

Information may be shared with service providers supporting infrastructure, authentication, communications, monitoring, security and AI-assisted processing; Dodo Payments when a user enters paid checkout or manages a paid purchase or subscription, including billing, tax, refunds and payment disputes; connected third-party services at the customer's direction; professional advisers where reasonably needed; authorities when required by law or to protect rights and security; and parties to a future corporate transaction, financing, reorganization or transfer of the Zalanx business.

Customer data is not disclosed for unrelated purposes.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Business customers are responsible for determining whether they may send personal data to Zalanx, giving required notices to employees, users and customers, configuring integrations and access permissions appropriately, and responding to requests relating to data they control.

6. International Processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the country where the customer or user is located. Zalanx uses reasonable contractual, organizational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the Service.

7. Retention and Deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, maintain billing and operational records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Retention may depend on account status, workspace configuration, data type and security requirements.

Users may request account or workspace deletion. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or legally required records. Exact retention periods may evolve as the Service develops.

8. Security

Zalanx uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account, workspace and security data. No internet service can guarantee complete security. Customers must protect their own credentials and integration permissions.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Zalanx may use cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, security, session management and basic service operation. Additional information will be provided if non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced.

10. Choices and Requests

Users may request access, correction, deletion, account closure or information about Zalanx's handling of their data by contacting info@zalanx.com. Zalanx may need to verify the requester, and some requests may be limited by security, contractual or legal requirements.

11. Children

Zalanx is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18.
